...and the winner of World Vegan Feast is...

Thank you to all of you who came by and left your comments. It seems that Indian and Ethopian cuisines are the most intriguing to a lot of you. I would have to agree that both make my mouth water. I had an Indian inspired burger on some fluffy naan for lunch yesterday. The spices were heavenly!

Before I tell you who the winner is, I just want to say that I have very much enjoyed all of the dishes I've made from this book so far. I look forward to traveling the delicious world with Bryanna and her wonderful recipes. I have searched my photo library and camera, but I cannot find a picture of her Drunken Beans recipe. They weren't particularly photogenic...they looked like your average beans. The flavor was full and rich and creamy, like only pinto beans can be. I loved the slightly boozy flavor the beer imparted. They were super convenient in the slow cooker.

Some time back, I made the Lentil and Rapini Stew with Spicy Sausage. It was quite tasty! Click here if you are interested in reading more about this rustic stew.

Thanks for coming out for the first giveaway for 2012 Vegan MoFo. This is the first of many to come, so make sure to keep checking back! The winner of World Vegan Feast is....

  1. I'm sad I missed the give-away! I love Ethiopian food, but I don't have any recipes. I'll have to check this book out soon.
